Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you can't find an answer to your question.

To register with us, please find the page that correlates to what you are looking for (ie. Rental or Flight instruction), click the "contact" button on the top of said page, and provide the information requested in the note on the right side of the message page. Following your message, we will reach out to discuss the process further.

Before your first lesson, a student folder will be created. For flight instruction to begin, it is MANDATORY that for your first lesson, you bring the following items: Government-issued photo ID, proof of citizenship (passport or birth certificate), and pilot medical. (if you do not have a medical by the time of your first lesson, that is okay! You will not be able to solo once you reach that point in your training until you obtain a medical per the FAR's.)

On your first initial rental, please bring the following documents: Government-issued photo ID, Pilots License, Pilot Medical, and Logbook. Before solo rental, you will be required to do a minimum 1-hour checkout flight with a flight instructor.

The quickness you obtain a rating is based on several factors but it comes down to 4. Your availability, instructors availability, aircraft availability, and weather. Flying at least 2-3 times a week, with all those factors met consistently, it should take you around 4-6 months to complete something like your Private Pilot.

We currently offer Private Pilot, Instrument, Multi-Engine, Single Engine Commercial, Multi-Engine Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI), and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). *No CTP services provided*

The difference in prices is because of the different horsepower engines installed.N48J has a 160hp engine, while N3JC has a 150hp engine. That 10hp allows you to go a little faster but also burns more fuel, forcing us to raise the price just a couple more dollars.
